Las Tortillas

When a neighborhood favorite grows, the space has to keep up.

For Las Tortillas, we designed a new restaurant that expands seating and improves operations while keeping the warmth and authenticity that made it a local staple.

Las Tortillas has been a local favorite since 2010, known for authentic Mexican cuisine and a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. When the owner was ready to expand, he asked us to help create a larger restaurant that could accommodate growing demand while staying true to the character that made the original location so popular.

We transformed a 2,500-square-foot vacant suite in a multi-tenant retail building into a vibrant new home for the restaurant. The key challenge was balancing increased seating with smooth operations for both staff and guests—especially during peak hours.

We reorganized the layout to maximize seating while keeping circulation comfortable and efficient throughout the dining room. A dedicated take-out waiting area supports the restaurant’s growing carry-out business, allowing staff to handle orders quickly without disrupting the dine-in experience.

Throughout the space, we focused on creating an environment that reflects the energy of the food itself—colorful, welcoming, and full of life.

Las Tortillas has always been about great food and genuine hospitality. The expanded restaurant gives the owner room to keep doing what he does best—serving the community one great meal at a time.
