Abby is an interior designer deeply inspired by the emotional impact of how spaces shape our experiences.
She attended the University of Minnesota (alongside another MDG interior designer, Sydney!) and received a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. She plays a key role in creating initial design concepts, space planning, material selection, and ensuring that all design decisions are cohesive and align with the clients' visions.
Abby is deeply inspired by the emotional impact of interior spaces. She is particularly fascinated by the powerful role the five senses play in our perception of space, carefully considering elements like texture, lighting, and acoustics to create immersive and memorable interiors. She knows firsthand the profound effect of a thoughtfully curated, well-lit space—how it can evoke comfort, energy, or a sense of belonging. Her passion lies in crafting those same experiences for others, ensuring that every space she designs is not only visually beautiful but also emotionally resonant and deeply functional.
Outside the office, Abby takes great pride in her dog-sitting/dog-walking side hustle! She also has a knack for hunting down secondhand furniture and decor. A natural host, she loves curating the perfect atmosphere for guests—meticulously planning, curating the ambiance, and often crafting a decadent charcuterie board that's almost too pretty to eat. When she's not hosting, and the sun is shining, you can bet she's patio-hopping!
